Prison Ministry

We support a Women’s Correctional Facility in our prison ministry. We teach classes which empower women to be better people and better mothers while incarcerated. Our hope is that upon their release they will become better citizens and contributing members of society.
We support the women who are incarcerated as well as the women who are charged with supervising the women who are incarcerated.
We teach classes on Co-dependency and being a Disciple and Apostle of Christ. We deliver the weekly message of Love, Faith and Hope.

New Thought Ministry

New Thought is a spiritual movement which developed in the United States during the late 19th century and emphasizes metaphysical beliefs. It consists of a loosely allied group of religious denominations, secularmembership organizations, authors, philosophers, and individuals who share a set of metaphysical beliefs concerning the effects of positive thinking, , healing, life force, creative visualization and personal power the law of attraction
New Thought believes that God is "supreme, universal, and everlasting", that divinity dwells within each person and that we are all spiritual beings, and that "the highest spiritual principle [is] loving one another unconditionally, teaching and healing one another", and that "our mental states are carried forward into manifestation and become our experience in daily living.
We believe in practical Christianity. We teach the effective daily application of the principles of Truth taught and exemplified by Jesus Christ. We promote a way of life that leads to health, prosperity, happiness and peace of mind. We believe that Jesus expressed his divine potential and sought to show humankind how to express ours as well. We see Jesus as a master teacher of universal truths and as our Way Shower.

 Our beliefs about children:

  • Behold all children as whole and perfect expressions of God.
  • Empower children to fulfill their divine potential.
  • Teach children to meditate and pray.
  • Invite children to experience a loving God.
  • Provide a strong spiritual foundation for children's lives.

International Missions

St. Carries Center conducts missions in Africa and Latin America. We do not force our religious views or spiritual principles on anyone. We value and respect others right to believe and worship as they choose. We live our principles in our day to day living. We serve as a model and example.
Our missions are about education and the Universal right of every person to learn and participate in a global society. We teach English to street children and orphans. We also provide school supplies and help build schools and libraries for orphans. It is our way of being the change that we want to see in the world.
